Meet Coach Jet

Coach Jet brings to the Academy many years of playing & coaching experience. She attended and played for Rutgers University on a full athletic scholarship and after two years transferred to Ursinus College to continue her softball career and study to become a teacher. She majored in Exercise & Sports Science and became a Health & Physical Education teacher. She has coached little league level, middle-school level, high-school level, and collegiate level. She has been giving private & group instruction for over 20 years. Some accomplishments she has earned are: being inducted into two Hall of Fames, 2X NCAA All-American, NSCA All-American Scholar Athlete, Academic All-American, NCAA Woman of the Year Candidate, NCAA Record Holder, Centennial Conference Pitcher of the Year, ECAC Southern Softball Player of the Year, 2X Centennial Conference 1st team, GTE/CoSIDA National 2nd team All-American, CC Silver Anniversary Team, and many more accomplishments. All earned with a ton of hard work. She is able to share her knowledge and experience with your softball player(s). Standing at only 5'2" Coach knows what it is like to have to work extra hard. Known by all at the Academy for her signature bun (to make her look taller) that doubles as a pencil holder. Coach is happily married for 20 years and has 4 kids.
